Aerothermal technology goes further, covering climate control, underfloor heating and domestic hot water from a single heat pump. We size by thermal load, not floor area: the old rule of 100 frigorías/m² falls short against large south-facing windows. How we install, step by step

We fix the outdoor unit on brackets with anti-vibration mounts, pull a vacuum with a pump and run a nitrogen pressure test before releasing the gas: skipping this step is the industry's most common mistake and ends up wrecking the compressor. We wire a dedicated protected electrical circuit, charge or verify the refrigerant, and commission the system measuring pressures and temperature split. A simple split is done in a day; a ducted system takes two or three, coordinated with the false ceiling.
Efficiency, refrigerant and soundproofing
The energy label no longer talks about raw frigorías but about SEER (cooling) and SCOP (heating): the higher they are, the less the unit consumes across a full season. Inverter technology modulates the compressor instead of switching on and off, and it is the difference between a controlled bill and a runaway one during an Andalusian summer. On refrigerant, R-32 (GWP 675) is still the standard, but the new European F-gas rules (EU Regulation 2024/573) are pushing towards R-290 (propane, GWP 3) in small units by 2027-2029.
