The kitchen renovation process, step by step

We start by taking precise measurements and producing a 3D layout plan before anything is touched. On site, work begins with dismantling and stripping out the old wall and floor tiles; we then re-run the plumbing (new water feeds and waste pipes with the correct falls) and the electrics to REBT standard, with dedicated circuits for the oven, induction hob and other high-draw appliances. Next come partition work, levelling of walls and floor, and tiling or microcement. Only once the wet trades have dried do we fit the units, template the worktop (the fabricator cuts it in 5-7 days) and finish with appliances, taps, lighting and silicone sealing. The worktop drives both budget and durability. Granite and marble add natural character but need periodic sealing.
